The Board is responsible for leading and controlling the company and has overall authority for the management and conduct of the business of the company.
The role of TRIG’s Board is to manage the governance of the Company in the interests of shareholders and other stakeholders. In particular, the Board approves and monitors adherence to the Investment Policy and corporate policies, determines risk appetite of the Group (the Company, all of its subsidiaries, and investments) and monitors the performance of the Investment Manager, the Operations Manager and other key service providers.
Good corporate governance is fundamental to the way that TRIG and its Managers conduct business. Particularly in a volatile economic and political environment, effective oversight of strategy and risk management is vital to the delivery of long-term, sustainable value to the Company’s stakeholders.
TRIG’s Investment Manager, InfraRed, is committed to high standards of corporate governance. Both TRIG and InfraRed have a comprehensive range of policies and systems in place to ensure that the Company is well-managed, with effective oversight and control.
